texas, so far

sigh.

well. we're in the new house (my parents'). i'm exhausted from all the packing/sorting/tossing/moving, and my parents still have tons of crap (read: all the closets are still full) to pack over at the old house. yikes. all i can say is, i'm leaving a week from wednesday, and they're gonna be stuck w/it.

schlitterbahn was postponed (possibly cancelled altogether) due to the undying storms in texas right now. we may go tomorrow or wednesday.

i'm tired. i just set up my parents' new sbcglobal dsl, and here i am.

i'm not looking forward to going back to NY, if only for the simple reason that i am jobless, and i cannot be jobless much longer, which means i have to go and find a job. this is not good. or promising. or appealing in any way. what IS appealing is all the freaking junk food i've been eating since i got here. WHOO. tonite at sonic i couldn't decide between a burger/a coney/ or a frito pie, but i went w/the burger. it was good. i've had El Fenix twice already, praise the Lord. i could eat chips and salsa and queso every day for the rest of forever if i had to.

i'm thirsty.
