politicos!

the democratic debate is on. i'm sort of watching it. politics are so difficult for me to get. it's not like i'm dumb, obviously, but there is just so much to every issue, i mean who really knows what stance is the best?? it's all so important, it's just hard for me to make decisions that matter like that. but i did register to vote. i think i did it when i got my NY drivers license, but i couldn't remember, so i just did it anyway. who knows.

i went to the language lab today. whee haw. watched this movie, outre-mer (overseas), and it was interesting.

who is this woman candidate? i've not even heard about this. hmm.

guess what! we don't have school tomorrow cuz it's rosh hashanah! whoo doggie. this is one of those "only in New York" things. that phrase fits into a lot of situations, you know. i walk past the local park on the way to the train and see japanese dance going on at 7:30 am: Only in New York. This Indian woman with a giant nose ring pushes me out of her way so she can get the last seat on the train: only in New York. I die of heat in my own house because there is no central air: only in New York. See? i'm serious.

got my english paper back tuesday, and we won't talk about it except to say that she made a comment at the top of the paper that said Please do not use paperclips. oh REALLY FOOL? kristen assures me that in the MLA handbook it instructs students to use paperclips, not staplers, because it makes it easier for the teacher. so THERE. so i will be letting her know that. her stubborn-ass-self. anywho. we're all supposed to turn in our 2nd drafts tuesday. (this woman is crazy. she gets crazier every week. it's strange.) goody goody. well i think i'll watch the closings of the debate. it's not like i'm saying much anyway. peace out.
