can't catch a break

so today i spent at least 3 hours talking to 3 different tech support peeps from HP trying to figure out what the hell was wrong w/my computer. finally it seems to be working again after restoring the settings to an earlier date and dispelling two major viruses. (where do those things COME from?) anyway, what a nightmare. ugh. but i know a lot more about troubleshooting now, i tell ya what.

i'm so tired for some reason. we also had to take in k's boyfriend's two cats today when his landlord unexpectedly discovered he was harboring them in his apt. so now wayne (our cat) is freaking out cuz he thinks they're going to "take over" or something. it's really annoying, trying to keep them away from each other. poor cats. they don't know what's going on. i tried to warn wayne, but it didn't seem to have helped. he still hisses and gets all puffy-tailed. so hopefully they'll get used to each other pretty soon, cuz this whole separate room thing is gonna get old really quickly. in other news, our dvd player is in at circuit city. (our $35 dvd player) must pick it up so i can watch LOTR two towers before k has to return it to the video store. i wanted to play the sims today, but the whole "you have 900 really bad viruses" thing kind of ruled that one out. darn it.

in happier news, kristen got her section for painting changed, so no more crazy lady, i just had some frosted cheerios, and it looks like Bob the bachelor is going to end up choosing Kelly Jo (she's not even from the south, folks). at least he got rid of that good-for-nuthin' leann. she was awful. she's the kind of woman who makes all women look neurotic and catty. me no likey. i missed last week's show, but i simply canNOT understand why he would get rid of Meredith over Estella (and Mary). i mean i totally thought it'd be Meredith and Kelly Jo at the end. wassup wit dat?! saddening, isn't it? too bad the OC comes on at the same time, cuz i really wanna watch that. it has good music, too. and it's not gay like Dawson's Creek. ok, must read sparknotes.com.
