satan created jobs.

phew. so my mission for tomorrow (today) is to get into the city and take care of all the crap at school. like apply for residency for cheaper tuition and talk to an advisor to make sure i'm not missing any classes and pay my bill and all that good stuff. and the stupid people at work are just that. freakin morons. if you say you're sending me say, 2 hours of tape to do over the weekend, then SEND IT! hello? and don't send ONE tape for TWO people and tell them to split up the time. ok, WHAT? good God. they should have hired us for in house employees instead of this transcription crap. but seeing as how they're obviously imcompetent, they didn't see that, now did they? it doesn't matter what job you ever get, there will always be something that sucks. well most things about this job are pretty positive, like getting to work in my pajamas if i feel like it and knowing i'll be able to still work part time when school starts and not having any specific hours and not having to deal with a boss or co-workers except over the phone and not having to pay for an unlimited metro card all summer. cuz if i listed the things that suck about waiting tables i could say many MANY more things than just "the people are stupid." cuz let's face it, ya'll. the people are stupid everywhere. what is it with that anyway? have you ever noticed how you're not stupid (usually), but most everyone else is? i think it's just something we gotta get used to. so sad. well at least typing at home i don't get my friggin tips taken off the table from the cheap-ass clientele on their way out the door. and a word to the wise: i think every single person should wait tables at least once in his/her life. even if it's only for one day. you THINK you know, but you have NO idea. that is SO true. i thought i felt the pain of waiters before. i was wrong. completely wrong. it's nice of you to try and empathize with them and all, treat them kindly, what have you, but you still don't have a clue. ooh ooh! so go get hired somewhere. i know it sounds like fun now!
