she's got IT.

well, even though i was already planning on it, after seeing the trailer for Closer, i will definitely see it, because it features freaking damien rice. yay. big yay. also, i saw julia, natalie, and clive on oprah last week, and i just love the two women. i don't know clive. sorry clive. but i love to watch the other two. do you ever wonder what makes certain people have "it?" you know IT. like that special je ne sais quoi, you can't put your finger on it, but the room is lit up whenever they're there. you can't take your eyes off them for no apparent reason? it's a very magical thing, IT. but where does it come from, i wonder?

i inadvertantly missed my stop while riding the bus home earlier this evening. i was really miffed when i realized, but then i realized the bus was going to pass by K-Mart, so i just stayed on and went shopping. so i mosied around big K for a couple of hours, picking up some odds and ends (bedskirt, paper towels, under-the-bed storage containers, etc.), and then i called a cab to come get me cuz there was no way i could carry all that crap onto the bus by myself. so i was out front waiting for the cab, pulling all my stuff out of my shopping cart, one by one, when the cart starts to roll. it--get this--freaking knocks over my full-length mirror i'd just bought, which shattered into a million pieces. i yelled out "NO!" as i saw what was happening, but that didn't seem to do much good. this is so typical, i'd like to say. but i only paid $5.99 for it, so i just left it and got in the cab. for the LOVE. can't a girl catch a BREAK?! apparently not. but oh well. better not complain anymore, lest God smite me down right here and now. i really don't have much to complain about in the scheme of things. i really think living here has made my glass perpetually half empty. i swear i used to be more positive. of course, i also used to be more naive.

did i mention that the male lead has missed the last 2 rehearsals and we open Friday? ok great.
