"Mr. Hepatitis."

i SO got locked in the dry storage basement at work tonight.

it's because my side work was restocking the kitchen and bringing up supplies from dry storage. well, apparently i was being VERY quiet down there, because the manager totally shut the door and padlocked it.

HELLO! scary. so here i am shouting thru the little crack left by the lock, and florencio, a busboy, hears me and comes over and starts laughing. then i use some choice words, and he laughs harder, but he says, "wait, mami, i get michael (the manager)." and then he troughs off.

i am starting to feel a little hot at this point. it is quite stuffy down there, and i'm getting a little nervous at this point anyway. so eventually he comes and lets me out (florencio, not mike), and then everyone upstairs is like "[laughing...]you got...[laughing]locked...[laughing]...in the dry...storage???[laughing]." and then they're like "[laughing]...i'm...[laughing]...sorry...[laughing]...that's not funny..."

you get the idea. i was definitely down there too long; i smell like fish. which reminds me of a song.

"Mister Snow" from Carousel. Mister Snow is a fisherman, and when she decides she likes him, finally, "fish is [her] favorite perfume!" HEH.

um, peter, the cook at work, also known {by me) as Peter Grimes, because he looks like a fisherman (Peter Grimes is an opera about a fisherman), is apparently going after the new lady at work, Judy. he totally gave her a greeting card and he wrote some long (undoubtedly nasty) message inside it. EWW. peter grimes is gross. he gave K his phone number even though he knew she had a boyfriend, and even though he's like 30 years older than her and even though a lovely lady at work, marianne, calls him (not to his face) "Mr. Hepatitis." LOL. Good one, marianne. i like marianne. she gave me a ride home last week, and we ended up talking about families and annoying people at work for about an hour.

also, she calls peter grimes "mr. hepatitis." LOL. ahhhhhhhhehehe.

i should eat something.
