catching up

good LORD it's been a long time since i wrote. anyhow, just got back from TX monday night, and i had a good time. i saw most everyone, but i didn't see jami and the kids. i also didn't see amy, which stinks, but i may in d-town for the whole month of january for intensive piano study, so i'll have plenty of time to visit w/people then.

i enjoyed the food, and we babysat markus (who's almost 12 months now and cuter than ever) and took chase to see "Good Boy". good times.

i also spent $75 at the thrift store but got 21 items (including many winter sweaters) plus 3 items for mom. what a deal!

wayne was pretty excited to see us. he's been following me around a lot since we got back. i'm not sure how he gets onto the top bunk with me, but he sure does it. there's barely enough room up there for ME to sleep, so i don't know how he doesn't fall off, but whatever.

i've got 2 paintings to do before class on saturday, so that's gonna take awhile. i think for my "muted colors" pic i'm gonna get some leaves from outside. we're also supposed to paint our favorite food, which sounds a lot easier than it really is, i'm sure. yikes.

the bachelor is coming on soon, and i'm excited. i was kinda mad last week when he didn't vote anyone off. that leann girl that he likes so much is kinda crazy, and i think the other girls must hate her.

i got some new taps for my tap shoes while in TX, and they are SO much better. even my teacher noticed last night. es bueno. i really like jazz, though. my pirouttes are significantly improving, and i really enjoy all the different turns and stuff.

i am SO glad the weather is cooler lately; it feels so nice. i love long-sleeved shirts and sweaters and hoodies and boots and whoo! it was REALLY windy today, and the staten island ferry ran into a dock and killed a few people i think. pretty crappy.

here's what i think my parents should do: buy a new house, a big one, and get that insurance thing to where if one dies then the house is automatically paid for. then they could section off part of the house for me (with like 2 bedrooms and a bathroom), put an outside door on it to give me my own little apartment, and then when i move back (not saying that will be REALLY soon or anything), i could stay there and pay rent. that would be ideal. my dad doesn't want to get a pool, though, which is kinda stinky. i can understand; it takes maintenance and stuff, but STILL. it would be great for the summers down there, and i could get a tan.

i'm really just babbling, as i am sick and have nothing of any importance to say.

i'm about to start writing my french report and reading for history.

more good news: i got my math class from Eastfield transferred! so NO MORE MATH FOR ME! you have NO idea how exciting that is. well, maybe you do. how would i know?
